SpartanFit at PureGym Bayswater is a military-style functional training session built around real-life movements: pushing, pulling, squatting, carrying, and crawling. It’s ideal if you want a tougher, more athletic fitness journey with structure and coaching.
Each session blends strength and conditioning with smart intensity: warm-up + technique, a strength focus, then a high-output finisher. Expect full-body work that builds stamina, resilience, and confidence.
Training is functional and varied: bodyweight drills, loaded carries, sled work, intervals, core training, and athletic conditioning. You’ll train like a unit — but with personal coaching attention throughout.
You’ll be coached by a personal fitness instructor focused on safe form, smart progression, and long-term results. You’ll know exactly what to do each session, and why you’re doing it.
SpartanFit is also a great option if you want group personal training without guessing your workouts. You get a plan, clear coaching cues, and accountability — all in a supportive group setting.
Focused on building a body capable of performing real-life activities in real-life positions, functional training goes beyond just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealized posture created by gym machines. It equips you with the strength, stability, and mobility needed to thrive in both life and sports. You engage in basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, squatting, rotating, carrying, and gait patterns—walking and running—every day.
In addition to individual workouts, group personal training sessions can enhance your functional training experience, allowing for a supportive environment led by a personal fitness instructor who guides you through exercises that improve your movement. Activities such as outdoor circuit training, strength and conditioning, as well as core and flexibility work are essential components of a comprehensive functional training regime.
